We at J.E. Bergasse believe that from the advent of the Personal Computer and the digital technology explosion that resulted, we embraced the new technology and the opportunities we believed would arise. The result was a strategic change in 1998 from a distribution business to one specializing in insurance and technology services, a move which has seen us evolve into one of the top service providers in St. Lucia.

J.E.Bergasse’s continued growth hinges on minimizing its dependence on margin gained from the sale of a ‘box’. Fundamentally and culturally, the company has to be transformed from a “commission agent” to a “technology services” company offering a broad range of services that support the on-going development of corporate, private and governmental ‘networks’ locally, regionally and internationally.
